We Survive Together. We Heal Together. We Rise Together.

This site is for anyone affected by domestic abuse, especially coercive control, and is a space to find truth, strength and solidarity.
I wanted to write a book, but this felt more accessible. Instead of chapters, I’m sharing moments: incidents, memories, reflections and the pieces of life that shaped the journey from the beginning, through into the aftermath where rebuilding began.
No one should face abuse in silence. Sharing our stories creates understanding, breaks isolation and reveals patterns that are hard to see when you’re inside them. We are here because we need each other.
Whether still in it, finding a way out, or rebuilding afterwards, this is a space for empowerment, recovery and flourishing.

Leaving is possible, healing is real, and hope grows in all of us... ❤️

Chronological Timeline

The word 'timeline' highlighted in pink marker

This page will be the easiest way to read my story in order. Abuse doesn’t happen in a straight line, and I’ve written my posts as memories, diary entries, reflections and aftermath. That can make the timeline hard to follow, especially when the beginning and the end sit so far apart.

I’ve put everything here, in one place, arranged chronologically, where I can. If you want to understand how things unfolded, how the control started, how it escalated, how it ended, and what came after, this is the clearest path. You can scroll through the events as they happened, or dip into the aftermath once you know the context. This page is simply a map.

Obviously, this is going to take quite some time to populate, maybe years – it’s hard to relive some of this. It’s equally as hard sometimes to click ‘publish’ and put these words out in the world. However, I thought it important to make the timeline live straight away, to start building the picture and patterns up as I write.
